Zappos reopening Louisville shoe and clothing outlet store
A big name in footwear is reopening an outlet store in southern Louisville.
The Outlet Powered by Zappos will again open at 9101 Minors Lane, marking the only outlet store for the online retailer.
The shoe and clothing outlet opens at 11 a.m. on Nov. 7 with a special two-day promotion of 30% off purchases, among other offers.
Zappos first opened an outlet at the site in 2019, which itself was a relocation of a Shepherdsville site that had operated for over a decade.
The Courier Journal reported at the time that the 13,000-square-foot space would hold 30,000 pairs of discounted shoes plus accessories, clothing, and jewelry.
The company announced in August 2022 that it would close the Minors Lane location by year's end, citing a “refocusing away from areas of the business that no longer meet our needs."
The outlet store will carry name-brand footwear, clothing, and accessories for adults and children. Luxury items are also part of the store’s offerings. New this time around are pre-built footwear pallets for sale.
Store hours for the reopened outlet store are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.
The company, founded in 1999, also operates Zappos Unboxed at Mall St. Matthews, 5000 Shelbyville Road.
