'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' Is 10 Episodes of Romance and Chaos

The Ultimatum: Queer Love is Netflix's newest foray into reality dating. Season 1 of The Ultimatum focused on straight couples and their relationship troubles, but Season 2 hopes to expand the show's viewership and range. There's no need to worry: reality dating drama is for everyone, regardless of who you love. The Ultimatum comes from the same creators as Love Is Blind, Netflix's other major dating hit, so The Ultimatum: Queer Love will likely have just as much drama.

For anyone joining the show for the first time, the premise is different from most dating shows. Long-term couples come on, with one person ready to commit to marriage, and the other still on the fence. To test the strength of their relationship, couples briefly break up and pair with other contestants. Later, they return to their original partners. At the end of the experiment, the original couples decide if they want to actually get married, or if they're better off finding someone else. Contestants ready to get engaged may find partners on the show also ready to tie the knot, or those who aren't sure about their partner may find someone who checks all their boxes.

If this wild concept sounds like it's worth watching, Netflix wants to make sure you savor every episode. Instead of sticking to their traditional method of releasing episodes all at once, The Ultimatum: Queer Love will come out in batches, much like Love Is Blind. To make sure you don't miss a single episode, we've got the release schedule below.

All episodes for Season 1 are now streaming on Netflix.

New episodes premiere at 12 p.m. Pacific Time.

There will be ten episodes of The Ultimatum Queer Love.
