Chief Antonio DeVaul from the Takoma Park Police Department has announced the arrests of Eduardo Vallera Carrizallez, 21, and Onalker Machado Martinez, 24, both without fixed addresses, for strong armed robbery after the suspects placed accessories on the victim’s shoes without consent and then demanded payment leading to the suspect’s restraining the victim and stealing money.

According to police, “On October 14, at approximately 12:49 pm, Takoma Park Police officers responded to the 1300 block of University Blvd for the report of a strong armed robbery that had occurred. The victim was approached by three unknown male suspects who attempted to sell him shoe accessories. Without the victim’s consent, the suspects placed the accessories on his shoes and then demanded payment. When the victim refused, explaining that he had not requested the items, the suspects restrained him and insisted on payment. The victim handed over a small amount of money from his wallet, after which the suspects fled the scene on foot.

Following an investigation, two of the suspects, identified as Carrizallez and Martinez, were apprehended, charged, and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. The third suspect remains at large, and the investigation is ongoing.” Photo Courtesy Google Maps
